Getting onto Medicare after age 65

Many people are working past the age 65 and are keeping their or their spouse’s employer group health care coverage.

For our clients who choose t0 keep working after the age of 65 and choose to keep their employer group healthcare coverage, we specialize in after 65 Medicare enrollment. We will make sure the late enrollment penalties do not appeal to you. Many insurance agents do not understand how a Special Enrollment works. We specialize in this type of enrollment so you will not incure the late enrollment penalty.

If done incorrectly the late enrollment penalty for Medicare Part B is 10% per for every full year you were not on Medicare Part B after age 65. For example, if you did not sign up for Medicare Part B at age 65 and you want to sign up at age 70, the penalty would be 50% of you Part B payment.
